Just click on "Name" or "ID" and you'll see only your contacts with history. We'll add more functionality to that soon.

I knew that Yahoo had this sort of problem, which is why I switched to Trillian and never noticed a disconnection. Trillian lets me chat for hours without losing the connection. As said in the link youp rovided, trillian might be getting disconnected but am yet to notice it. But after turning on the proxy, the connection keeps getting cut at an average of 3-4 minutes. I just found out that I also have the same problem as Nate about not being able to send messages, but being able to receive them. But after getting reconnected, I am able to do do both. Maybe I should try Pidgin.

Aravind, I have found that people have the same trouble with trillian without our proxy. I’m not sure why exactly right now, not enough info yet.

Aravind, Trillian 3.0 does not have any proxy configurations in settings. you should update to version 3.1, it specifically resolves some problems with yahoo and also it supports Proxy settings (in Trillian Preferences -> Advanced Preferences -> Proxy Server)

I use Trillian for Yahoo. I have a 256kbps connection, but it keeps fluctuating between 128 and 256.
