New service: Free online translation

Simkl team speaks different languages and lives in different countries. Sometimes we talk over IM and answer e-mail support requests to people from all over the world who don’t know a word in our language. But how do we do it? We’re using http://translate.simkl.com. Today we are opening this service for everyone to use. Simkl automatically translates full text from and into any of these languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Translit. A total of 291 language pairs.

We added Virual Keybord that supports almost every language.

    hmm… What’s the difference with http://www.google.com/translate_t?

    Google supports only 38 language pairs and doesn’t include several languages that we do.

    Simkl supports 291 language pairs. With Simkl you can translate from German to Chinese or to Russian, or to Korean, or to Spanish… etc.

    Очень интересно, но всё таки я слабо верю в то что программный переводчик может осмысле перевести какую нибудь сложную фразу на другой язык, потому что звучать она будет абсолютно по другому, полностью поменять построение предложения не под силу программе

    что-то я не уверена, что если перевести полноценный тест, то не потеряется его смысл. хотя бы пример опубликовали, что бы можно было убедиться в способностях переводчика.

    291 язык - это уже серьезно. не так часто можно встретить такой полный переводчик.
