Security notifications from Simkl for Apple devices

At Simkl we take security very seriously and one of the tools we’ve developed for ourselves is tracking our device OS versions and tools to receive reminders to update our OS on all our devices when there’s a new update available.

One of the things we track is Apple software updates, so today we’re making one of our security tools public for everyone so everyone can use it. You can now subscribe to notifications on Simkl when there’s an Apple iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS update. So you would know the same day the update is available.

Looking at our website user stats, most of you have not yet updated your iPhone to iOS 15.3 which blocks a serious security issue for iPhone and iPad where any webpage you visit can get your personal information from your iPhone or iPad on iOS 15.2 and below.
